Akerson has been in poor health for some time but news of her death will come as a shock to her many Tower friends. Akerson became identified with the State Bank of Grandy, Minn., as cashier. They left here to make their home in Minneapolis and later Mr. ![]() Akerson was for a number of years cashier of the First State Bank. Akerson, until about three years ago, resided here and Mr. The family is well known to many Tower people as Mr. Akerson was 48 years old and leaves a husband and two sons. Akerson, a former resident of this city, died Tuesday morning at a Minneapolis hospital after an illness of several weeks.
